§ 50-164. Conditions on use.

  • (a)

    The grantee shall not place poles or other fixtures where the same will interfere with any gas, electric, or telephone fixture, water hydrant or main.

    (b)

    The grantee, at the request of any person holding a building moving permit and with not less than ten days' advance notice, shall temporarily remove, raise or lower its wires, conduits and cables. The expense of such temporary removal, raising or lowering of wires, conduits and cables shall be paid by the person requesting the same, and the grantee shall have the authority to require such payment in advance.

    (c)

    The grantee shall have the authority, to the extent the city has authority to grant the same, to trim trees upon or overhanging any street or public property so as to prevent the branches of such trees from coming in contact with the wires, conduits and cables of the grantee. All trimming shall be done under the direction of the city and at the expense of the grantee.
